Who should come next if Gareth Southgate decides he doesn’t want to continue as England manager following their heart-breaking World Cup exit to France?
That’s the big talking point around the Three Lions at the moment with differing views on whether the next manger should be English or whether we should be open to a foreign boss.
The Mail on Sunday’s chief sports writer Oliver Holt says the next manager must not be another Fabio Capello and should understand English football culture – but that doesn’t necessarily preclude a foreign boss.
