A huge total of 55,000 Morocco fans will be attending the World Cup semi-final in Qatar, according to reports in France.
The Atlas Lions take on France at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor in front of a capacity crowd on Wednesday evening with a place in the final on the line.
And as reported by RMC Sport, 55,000 of the 69,000 inside the stadium will be backing Morocco – nearly 80 per cent of the total supporters.

According to the outlet, that figure includes those from the North African diaspora, for example people of Moroccan descent living in France, and those who have arrived in the Middle East as the tournament has progressed.
Either way, the match will be a historic occasion, with Morocco the first ever African side to reach the last four of the competition.
And Walid Regragui’s side – the surprise package of the World Cup – seem to have the vast majority of those in attendance backing them, with several extra flights put on from Morocco to Doha on Wednesday to facilitate the journeys.

But it was reported by AFP that a number of flights were cancelled due to restrictions imposed by the Qatari authorities, which is said to have affected 2,100 fans.
Morocco have stunned several big sides on the way to the semi-final, beating World No 2-ranked Belgium in the group stage, Spain on penalties in the last 16 and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal in the quarters.
Regragui’s men are big underdogs again against Les Bleus – but will be hoping to upset the favourites once again.
