No rest for Harry Kane! Richarlison faces ‘at least a month out’ with a hamstring injury suffered at the World Cup, leaving Tottenham even more reliant on the heartbroken England captain
Tottenham have been dealt a major blow before the return of the Premier League as Brazilian striker Richarlison faces a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Spurs are set to be without the World Cup star for ‘at least a month’ after he suffered an injury during Brazil’s exit in Qatar – meaning Harry Kane won’t have long to get over his penalty heartache.
Richarlison injured himself in the warm-up of Brazil’s quarter-final defeat to Croatia on Friday night but continued to play for 84 minutes.

It leaves Harry Kane as the lone option for Spurs following his England penalty heartbreak
The striker returned to Tottenham on Monday for scans, with the north London club now waiting on results amid fears he could be out for at least a month, the Evening Standard reports.
Kane and his international team-mates returned home from Qatar on Sunday, the day after the quarter-final loss to France in which the England captain missed a late spot kick to equalise.
The striker was visibly emotional after the final whistle – but Kane only has seven days to get over the disappointment with his return to Spurs scheduled for Monday, December 19.
Kane admitted straight after England’s defeat that the pain of missing his penalty and losing to France will ‘hurt for a long time.’
And there is no rest for the World Cup stars with Spurs back in Premier League action on Boxing Day, away to Brentford.
The fixtures come thick and fast for Spurs, with a home game against Aston Villa before another London clash, this time against Crystal Palace.

Spurs then have an FA Cup tie with Portsmouth before a crunch week, starting with the north London derby against league leaders Arsenal before a trip to face Manchester City four days later.
It’s another blow for Spurs boss Antonio Conte, who already had to contest with both the Brazilian and Dejan Kulusevski being out for almost a month in the build-up to the World Cup.
Conte would have been delighted to see Richarlison performing well on the global stage with the Brazilian striker netting three times, including two spectacular efforts.
The Spurs manager would have been able to integrate Richarlison into the side and allow Kane time to recover both physically and mentally.
However, Kane will now be needed more than ever as Spurs look to maintain their place in the top four.
The Spurs frontman has started all 22 games for the club this season and has also played 90 minutes in all six of their Champions League games.
