Keane joked that Argentina’s players can dance ‘for the next 10 years’ after lifting the trophy.
‘He’s [Scaloni] on the sidelines, he’s kicking every ball with them, that emotion we talk about is vital for this group of players and it got them over the line the emotion,’ he said.
‘Look what brilliant scenes, it is just brilliant, dance all you want.
‘They’ll be dancing at the hotel tonight, good luck to them, they’ll be dancing for the next 10 years. That’s when you dance, when you win it.’

Messi scored twice in the final – and converted Argentina’s first spot-kick in the shootout – while Kylian Mbappe’s hat-trick, which dragged France back into the match, proved to be in vain.
The 35-year-old national team hero was visibly emotional after the match, sinking to his knees in tears before being surrounded by his teammate’s and former Manchester City striker and good friend Sergio Aguero.
Keane had earlier caught the attention as viewers commented on his impressive moustache that he had grown for the final.
