Serial hanger-on Salt Bae also got his hands on Real Madrid’s Champions League trophy in 2018 and posed with a smiling Cristiano Ronaldo – four YEARS before gatecrashing Argentina’s World Cup win to the annoyance of skipper Lionel Messi
Footage has emerged of Salt Bae gatecrashing Real Madrid‘s celebrations after their 2018 Champions League win to pose for pictures with Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo.
The celebrity-chasing chef has caused controversy in recent days after he went onto the pitch during Argentina’s trophy presentation following their World Cup win against France on Sunday.
Salt Bae, real name Nusret Gokce, stole the limelight as he looked to get photos of himself with Lionel Messi and Co with the World Cup trophy.

Messi gave him short shrift, and looked annoyed that Salt Bae was trying to make the moment about himself.
But Salt Bae did manage to get a picture with Argentina defender Lisandro Martinez, although the Manchester United defender looked less than pleased to see him.
Angel Di Maria also looked uncomfortable as Salt Bae refused to move on to allow the players the chance to enjoy their victory.
Salt Bae’s actions shouldn’t be a surprise, though, as he did the same thing with Messi’s great rival Ronaldo four years ago.

After Madrid had seen off Liverpool 3-1 in the final in Kyiv, Salt Bae went behind the scenes to track down Ronaldo and Ramos.
Unlike Argentina’s players, the Madrid duo actually seemed to enjoy Salt Bae’s company, with Ronaldo laughing and joking with the steak magnate.
Ramos was also in a playful mood as he performed Salt Bae’s trademark move, pretending to sprinkle salt into the Champions League trophy.
The clip finishes with Madrid defender Marcelo also miming sprinkling salt, while Salt Bae gives a thumbs-up to the camera, having achieved his aim of meeting his idols.

FIFA confirmed on Thursday that they will be investigating how Salt Bae got onto the pitch after the World Cup final.
Their rules stipulate that only heads of state and a select group of people, including former World Cup winners, can touch the trophy, but Salt Bae managed to get his hands on it.
The governing body have vowed to take ‘internal action’ once they have established the full facts.
Salt Bae’s relationship with FIFA president Gianni Infantino has come into question since the incident after a video emerged of the pair together at the former’s steak restaurant last year.
Infantino gave Salt Bae a VIP pass to the final, despite the chef having no links or ties to football, either team, or the tournament itself.
