Marca’s front page on Wednesday featured a picture of the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, 19, along with the headline ‘Acceleration for Bellingham.’
Dortmund have already made clear Bellingham is available at the end of the current season though Real have already been in contact with him for a year.
According to Marca, they asked Bellingham not to extend his contract at the Bundesliga club, something he has honoured.
But Real acknowledge they are going to face stiff competition for Bellingham’s signature, not least from Liverpool, who have made him their No 1 summer target.

That remains the case despite their move to sign forward Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven from under the noses of rivals Manchester United.
It is believed Bellingham could leave Germany for a cut price £60million because of a release clause in his contract, which runs until 2025.
Provided this fee is met, Bellingham will be free to choose between Real and the trio of English clubs, with Chelsea and Man City also linked.

The England star has built strong relationships with Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold while away on international duty and was seen hanging out with the duo in Qatar.
Bellingham was in the stands at Turf Moor on Tuesday night to watch Birmingham City, his first club, lose 3-0 to Burnley in the Championship.
