Manchester United have not ruled out plans to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka during the January transfer window, despite the full-back’s impressive performances in the absence of Diogo Dalot, according to reports.
Erik ten Hag, who has favoured the Portuguese star at right-back since his arrival at Old Trafford last summer, handed Wan-Bissaka two rare starts during the Red Devils’ wins against Nottingham Forest and Wolves.
Dalot picked up a hamstring injury during Portugal’s quarter-final defeat by Morocco at the World Cup and has since been unavailable for Manchester United as a result.
Several clubs ‘have expressed interest in a move for Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka’
Wan-Bissaka has only recorded four appearances for the Red Devils since Erik ten Hag’s arrival
Taking his chance against Forest and Wolves, Wan-Bissaka defended expertly to help the Red Devils carve out back-to-back clean sheets and climb to fourth spot in the table ahead of Tottenham.
According to The Athletic, ‘several clubs have expressed interest’ in the defender ahead of potential swoop in January.
Wan-Bissaka joined Manchester United from Crystal Palace for £50million in 2019 and began his Red Devils career as the first-choice right-back at the club under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But the 25-year-old quickly fell down the pecking order at Old Trafford as Manchester United’s defence continually struggled to keep teams out.
Since Ten Hag’s arrival from Ajax last summer, he has only made four appearances across all competitions.
Once a highly-rated youngster tipped by many to one day earn stripes for England, Wan-Bissaka is weighing up his future at Old Trafford and thus considering a January move away in a bid to revive his career.
