The 24-year-old defender missed Tagliafico and Caroline Calvagni’s wedding reception after returning to Manchester earlier this week.
Tagliafico and his wife were wed in a civil service last year but postponed their celebrations due to Covid-19.
Discussing her wedding on social media, Caroline said: ‘We got married last year, but this year we have the party, the wedding.
‘December 27th marks one year and the 27th of this year we married ring, dress, party, everything’.

Caroline was seen wearing a white floral lace dress, while Tagliafico was seen sporting a black tuxedo.
The pair were filmed dancing and singing on stage after the wedding, holding a World Cup trophy in their hands as ‘We are the Champions’ played in the background.
Tagliafico also had his World Cup winners medal draped around his neck as he kissed the trophy with his wife by his side.
Martinez missed the party to return to Manchester United for the resumption of the Premier League.
Erik ten Hag reminded Martinez of his responsibilities at United last week, after the 24-year-old was seen partying back in his homeland.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag gave Martinez a little nudge that their Premier League campaign was getting back underway
The Dutch manager said Martinez should enjoy his World Cup success but highlighted the fact United’s Premier League campaign was back underway.
His comments came shortly after Martinez was pictured alongside Cristian Romero and Nahuel Molina the day after Argentina’s celebrations.
Ten Hag said: ‘[Martinez] has been celebrating in Buenos Aires and I can understand that. It’s the highest you can achieve.’
The United manager went on to add: ‘Lisandro Martinez has to accept that on the 27th the Premier League will go on.’
Ten Hag also reflected on how Varane was feeling after losing to Argentina in the final of the 2022 World Cup.
He said: ‘Of course [Varane] is disappointed about losing but I think also he can be proud that he was again in the final and of all that he achieved already in his career.’
United defender Raphael Varane ended up on the losing side as France were beaten in Qatar
United returned to competitive action following the World Cup with a 2-0 win over Burnley in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils also beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening.
Ten Hag played three full backs in a makeshift defence for their comfortable 3-0 win as his squad was also hit by illness.
England defender, Harry Maguire, made a late appearance from the bench after he had been laid low by the bug.
United will travel to Wolves on New Year’s Eve and welcome Bournemouth to Old Trafford on January 3 as they try to push up from fifth in the table.
Martinez – who took to social media to show he was supporting United by watching from his Manchester home – hopes is hoping to be in contention to play Wolves this weekend.
