Like father, like son! Karim Benzema posts adorable video of five-year-old son Ibrahim working out with him at Real Madrid’s training base – all but confirming he will NOT play a part in Sunday’s World Cup final for France
Karim Benzema has posted a video training with his son at Real Madrid as rumours continue to mount over his potential return to the 2022 World Cup ahead of the final.
It has since been rumoured that he may return to Qatar to feature for France in Sunday’s World Cup final against Argentina, having never been replaced in Didier Deschamps’ 26-man squad.

The striker was ruled out of the tournament before it had begun with a thigh injury
The Ballon d’Or winner returned to training earlier this week and he even featured in Los Blancos 1-1 draw with Leganes yesterday, proving his return to full fitness.
It appears the 34-year-old has shut down the talk of returning to feature for France as they bid to retain their World Cup champions status by posting a video training alongside his son at Real Madrid’s headquarters on social media.
Benzema filmed himself on a spin bike before zooming over to his five-year-old son Ibrahim also training with the caption of ‘Motivation’.

The video has come shortly after Spanish publication Libertad Digital have claimed that Benzema is unhappy with the treatment by Deschamps, who is claimed to have sent the striker home after his injury.
The same report suggests the France boss also annoyed the Ballon d’Or winner with his comments made in a press conference.
Benzema reportedly needed just three days of treatment at Real Madrid’s training facility before he went on vacation and has already recovered from the injury.
Deschamps appeared to be irked as he was asked if Benzema could feature in Sunday’s final with Argentina.
Deschamps started smirking as he quickly said ‘next question’ when asked about Benzema
He closed his eyes and puffed his cheeks, before saying ‘I don’t really want to answer that question,’ and letting out a smile as he quickly said: ‘Next question.’
It’s said that Benzema has no intention of going to the final in Qatar, despite the fact that he is still a registered member of the squad and would be a world champion if France retain their trophy from 2018.
His video has now confirmed that he has no intention of jetting off to either feature or show support to his fellow countryman ahead of the final.
