Morocco fans in New York took to the street to celebrate their upset of Portugal Saturday, as the team eked out a 1-0 victory.
The Atlas Lions struck in the 42nd minute via a Youssef En-Nesyri header and were able to hold on to their lead despite a late red card to Walid Cheddira.
And fans of the team in the Big Apple were ecstatic with the result, lighting flares and celebrating in the streets after the match.
The supporters sung songs as well as they commemorated the improbable win.
Morocco’s run will continue in the semifinals vs. either France or England.
They stunned Spain on penalties in the Round of 16 to reach the Portugal game.
