Jordan Henderson has linked up with his Liverpool team-mates in Dubai just days after England’s heartbreaking World Cup exit.
The midfielder was seen chatting to manager Jurgen Klopp in a video posted on the club’s Twitter feed on Wednesday.
The Reds are currently on a warm weather training camp in Dubai, just a short flight from where the World Cup is taking place in Qatar.

Henderson will enjoy a well-deserved rest after the World Cup but Klopp will no doubt want his captain back in the team as quickly as possible ahead of a busy festive schedule
Klopp gave Henderson a warm embrace and the video later showed the pair in deep conversation as the 32-year-old prepares to return to club action.
The video also showed Andy Robertson sarcastically saying ‘We had a visitor in training today, the captain came and said hello to everyone’, which the club then used as the caption for the video.
Henderson was excellent during England’s World Cup campaign, which ended in cruel fashion when they lost 2-1 to France on Saturday night.
He was substituted off for Mason Mount shortly after Olivier Giroud scored what proved to be France’s winning goal 12 minutes from time.

That was just a few minutes before Harry Kane skied his second penalty kick of the evening to condemn England to an agonising defeat.
Henderson will now re-focus on Liverpool commitments though it isn’t clear when he will return to training with his club.

The Reds are sixth in the Premier League table following a shaky start to the season, already trailing leaders Arsenal by 15 points and seven points off the top four.
It came as a football psychologist analysed how Kane was left ‘alone and vulnerable’ because Henderson had been subbed off before his second kick on Saturday.
Geir Jordet, a professor at the Norwegian School of Sports Sciences, illustrated in a Twitter thread how Henderson had served as a ‘protector’ for Kane ahead of spot-kicks by keeping opposition players away from the striker.
However, because he was off the pitch ahead of the fateful penalty, Kane was surrounded by French players who may have tried ‘mind games’ that led to the miss.
