After two years as Barcelona’s Director of Football, the club have confirmed that Mateu Alemany will leave the role at the end of the season.
Alemany will depart the Camp Nou at the end of June “to begin a new professional project” – with it widely reported that he’s set to become Aston Villa’s new sporting director.
